MobileSolve is led by Steve Gaynor, who has twenty years in the wireless industry, and over thirty years experience handling strategy engagements and corporate transactions of all types including M&A, equity and debt financings, restructurings, private and public offerings, and others. He has advised many of the world’s leading companies, investors and governments.
Steve began his career on “Wall Street” at Skadden, Arps, the top-ranked M&A law firm in the U.S. where he was an attorney for M&A and equity, mezzanine and debt financings. From there he became a banker at L.F. Rothschild & Co., a leader in technology investment banking, where he was in both the M&A and Corporate Finance Departments.
Steve later was a principal of the international corporate development team at wireless carrier AirTouch, whose success led to the buyout of Vodafone for $66 Billion, and a Partner at management consultancy Arthur D. Little where he led wireless industry engagements advising blue chip companies and investors. Steve has been CEO of two wireless early state companies, Unifone, backed by a large venture capital fund, and Mobliss, owned by a leading Japanese mobile internet company.
Steve graduated summa cum laude from Baruch College of CUNY, and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a JD from Harvard Law School. He is a member of the New York Bar, and completed a Certificate in Telecom Engineering with distinction from U.C. Berkeley.
